The Cincinnati Community Orchestra welcomes applications from new players to join us for an exciting 2022-23 season.

COVID-19 Policy

All CCO players are encouraged to be fully vaccinated and to receive appropriate boosters before entering the rehearsal hall or performance space.

STRING AUDITION INFORMATION

The Cincinnati Community Orchestra seeks fine, dedicated string players of all ages to join the ranks of our string sections. Interested players may launch the process by submitting a recorded audition to the Music Director. Download audition packages, including instructions and required excerpts, here:

The Music Director will contact applicants to confirm receipt of audition materials, and will advise each applicant of the audition decision within a week of their submission. Applicants who wish to join the CCO for the first concert of the season should submit before Labor Day weekend.

WIND AND BRASS AUDITION INFORMATION

The Cincinnati Community Orchestra welcomes applications from wind and brass instrumentalists.  The orchestra’s needs in these sections vary from concert to concert and season to season.  For the 2022-23 season we anticipate opportunities for flute, oboe (particularly a player skilled on English horn), clarinet, bassoon (particularly a player skilled on contrabassoon), trumpet and trombone.
